Here is a quick update on our GME related consulting:

With the help of our Senior Consultant Bob Dickler, the former Chief Clinical Officer for the Association of American Medical Colleges in charge of all issues related to GME, Tripp Umbach has completed new models that show the Return on Investment of new GME programs for hospitals in virtually every situation and every market.  Our models show the cost of new programs and the impact of CMS funding and other “induced” financial benefits to hospitals that establish new programs.  I am presenting this information “The Return on Investment of GME Programs” later this month at a GME conference in Georgia, sponsored by Medical College of Georgia.  I would be happy to share an electronic copy of the presentation with you – just email me and I will forward it to you on Friday, May 28th.
