The Portal to Our Corporate Soul or Just a New Website?

Posted by: Paul Umbach on 1/12/2010

Twenty years ago when I started Tripp Umbach, the last thing on our radar screen was a Website.  But then again, we had two computers to share between the staff and we sent our memos and proposals via snail mail.  These days Websites are critical.  They are the portal to our corporate soul, open 24/7 and an essential communications vehicle.

And, while we’ve had a Tripp Umbach site for many years, I’ll admit that we weren’t paying close attention to what the web gurus call the “user experience,” making it easier for visitors to understand what we do, how we do it and what impact it has on our clients.  So we recently undertook an extensive re-design of our site.  The new approach shows off more of our personality (not too stuffy, not too serious but dedicated to getting the job done right) and also profiles our market research, strategic planning and economic impact work.  I hope you will take a few minutes to review our new site (www.trippumbach.com) and give us feedback.  We will be updating it regularly and blogging when we have something worthwhile to share.
