Tripp Umbach conducted a comprehensive Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) for a multi-county region in Pennsylvania  for Geisinger Health System.  Geisinger is ranked as one of the top performing health systems in the United States and a model for how healthcare will be delivered in the future.

The presence of Geisinger Health System in 14 counties throughout central and northeastern Pennsylvania positioned the health system to partner with other community hospitals and nonprofits to produce a comprehensive community needs assessment that accurately reflected the needs of the region.

A project report for each of the hospital’s organizations identified and evaluated its community health needs to help better understand the risk indicators, population trends, and health care barriers in its service area.
