LCME accreditation

Nova Southeastern University, responding to demands for medical education and health care delivery transformation, invited Tripp Umbach to facilitate the development of a business plan with a working financial model for a new four-year allopathic medical school on the University’s Fort Lauderdale, Florida campus. Tripp Umbach worked closely with NSU leadership, staff, researchers, and clinical partners to help create a plan to achieve LCME accreditation and expand undergraduate and graduate medical education.

The implementation of a new research-intensive College of Medicine on the NSU campus will result in an innovative model that will transform medical education by training students to provide high quality, team-based, cost-effective care. This transformation will generate positive economic impacts, lead to innovations in health care delivery and technologies, and provide significant benefits to medical school partners as well as the region, state, and nation.
