Stefani McAuliffe has a diverse background in community health assessments, population management strategies, and community collaboration. In her most recent position as Director of Mission Integration at UPMC Pinnacle in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Stefani led initiatives to ensure that the health-system remained focus on its mission of serving the community including the uninsured, under-served and highest risk patient populations. Stefani identified innovative approaches to improving community health using population health strategies, community engagement approaches, and evidence-based models. In this role, Stefani led the Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) processes, providing the health-system and the community at large with primary and secondary data on community health needs used to target outcomes-based programming. Stefani established the process for tracking the health-system’s community benefit initiatives to include collecting and quantifying system-wide community benefit activity, educating employees on community benefit initiatives, and developing reports for senior leadership to ensure organizational compliance with policy and regulatory standards.
Stefani’s prior experience includes providing project management for the Pennsylvania Advocates for Nutrition and Activity (PANA), and serving as the Director of Community Planning at the Institute for Healthy Communities, an affiliate organization to the Hospital and Health System Association of Pennsylvania.
Stefani earned her Bachelors of Business Administration with a degree in Marketing from Kent State University, Kent, Ohio and a Masters of Public Administration from Penn State University.
