Beebe Healthcare
Turning Community Needs into Actionable Health Strategies

The Challenge
Beebe Healthcare needed a comprehensive, data-driven community health needs assessment (CHNA) that not only met IRS requirements but also aligned with the health system’s strategic priorities and population-health goals. The challenge involved understanding shifting community health concerns, engaging diverse stakeholders, evaluating previous implementation strategies, and synthesizing large volumes of primary and secondary data to identify the most pressing needs across the service area.
How We Helped
Tripp Umbach implemented a full, evidence-based assessment process designed to uncover accurate, actionable insights. The team conducted a project planning session, evaluated past implementation strategies, analyzed extensive secondary data, and completed stakeholder interviews, focus groups, and community commentary activities to capture the lived experiences of residents, including underserved populations. Using established methodologies, the team synthesized quantitative and qualitative findings, facilitated a prioritization session, and developed a resource inventory to identify gaps in provider capacity. Tripp Umbach produced a CHNA report and coordinated an integrated implementation strategy planning process to translate findings into measurable, realistic goals for Beebe Healthcare.
Tripp Umbach’s work provided Beebe Healthcare with a clear, strategic foundation to improve community health outcomes and strengthen population health management. The CHNA identified key health priorities, revealed disparities within the service area, and highlighted system-level and community resources essential for addressing unmet needs. Through an integrated implementation plan, Beebe Healthcare has actionable, data-supported strategies, defined goals, metrics, and partner roles to empower leadership to track progress, allocate resources effectively, and deepen community partnerships.
