Nebraska Total Care, a Managed Care Organization and subsidiary of Centene Corporation, is dedicated to improving health outcomes through locally delivered, compassionate, and coordinated care. With a mission to transform community health one person at a time, Nebraska Total Care sought to better understand and quantify its economic and community impact across the state.
How We Helped
In 2022, Tripp Umbach partnered with Nebraska Total Care to conduct a comprehensive economic and community impact study of the organization’s statewide operations. The analysis evaluated operational and capital spending, payroll and benefits, employment, and patient outcomes—capturing both direct and indirect contributions to Nebraska’s economy and public well-being.
Tripp Umbach’s analysis found that Nebraska Total Care generated $68.1 million in total economic impact in 2021, supporting 355 direct and indirect jobs and contributing $1.1 million in state tax revenue. Beyond measurable financial results, Nebraska Total Care continues to foster community benefit through culturally sensitive care and strong member-provider relationships.
