The Challenge

Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine sought to define and communicate the full scope of its impact in Georgia across education, workforce development, and community health, while recognizing the distinct contributions of its two campuses and their shared commitment to serving both urban and rural communities.

How We Helped

Tripp Umbach conducted an independent, comprehensive economic impact analysis of PCOM’s presence in Georgia, including PCOM Georgia in Suwanee and PCOM South Georgia in Moultrie. The study evaluated how the institution’s operations, employees, students, and alumni strengthen the state’s economy and health care workforce, translating detailed data and modeling into a clear narrative that demonstrates the lasting value both campuses provide to communities across Georgia.

The Impact

The final report positions PCOM Georgia in Suwanee and PCOM South Georgia in Moultrie as more than academic campuses; it tells the story of two trusted educational partners and community anchors serving distinct regions of the state. The analysis highlights how both campuses strengthen Georgia’s health care pipeline, expand access to care in urban and rural communities, and support local economies. Together, they reinforce PCOM’s role as a statewide asset advancing a healthier and more resilient Georgia.

Every successful project starts with a conversation.
