How We Helped
Building on a partnership of more than two decades, Tripp Umbach conducted a comprehensive economic impact study to quantify UNC Lineberger’s operational, research, and fiscal contributions statewide. Using a blend of primary and secondary data, IMPLAN modeling, and detailed analysis of research spin-offs and employment effects, the study captured both the center’s direct impact and its broader influence on North Carolina’s innovation economy.
The final report provided a clear, data-driven narrative illustrating how UNC Lineberger advances discovery while fueling economic growth.
